My son was running around tonight outside and was breathless when we came in could hear slight wheeze but went when we got in and relaxed never needed to give him inhaler doesn’t seem to be struggling this is the 2nd time he’s done this when running around he’s had it once before and needed inhaler should I give it or has anyone any advice if it is exercise induced I still want him to enjoy playing but worried he’s not even formally diagnosed but has eczema and allergies egg which we know!

Ask the Asthma nurse at your surgery, or ring the Asthma UK helpdesk.

I used to be like that as a child many years ago before ventolin was available, and for me it went once I stopped running about, took maybe 30 mins, so from my experience I would say if it goes quickly on its own don’t worry unduly. Inspite of having this and a couple of severe attacks each year the asthma did go away for 40 odd years with no symptoms.

If you do get concerned, get help.
