6 months ago I finally saw a consultant because my asthma symptoms, particularly the cough, were getting worse and worse. After lots of tests and examinations he told me I suffer from PND and "ANY ASTHMA YOU MAY HAVE IS PERFECYLY CONTROLLED" he prescribed fenofexadine tabs and fliticasone proprionate nasal spray. Bingo! Seems a complete solution. 6 months on I have no symptoms, no coughing, less snoring (my wife says) but I still use my Relvar preventer inhaler. My question is I really don't want to be taking unnecessary meds, how can I find out if I really do need this? My GP says if it works keep going, but is it the Relvar or just the other 2 meds? If those work surely I should be trying to stop the puffer? Any thoughts would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance

How often do you take the preventer, could you reduce the dose to see if you notice any changes to your breathing?
