Hi, As i got tired of coughing I thought I would look into it further, Coughing making me very tired. I tried decongestant.
It seems to work, i dont cough when i have it and 4 hours later I start coughing. It works for me. Thought I would share it. I hope it works for you and gives some relief.

Many folk find decongestants work, but only for a few days or maybe up to a week or two.
Also gather that there are risks in taking them for more than a short period.
They can help get you through a tough patch but think your GP would caution you on longer term use.
Probably best to see your Doc for advice.
Yes I managed to get some sleep so thats good. I was also thinking my not be a long term fix. I am at the hospital on friday and will mention it to them. Only had one yesterday. I had a asthma attack last evening, and wondered if they were to blame, but probably not.
I am against taking medications, but now I obviously need to take my asthma meds regularly which is all very new to me. Taking meds I mean. Anyway its goodto know decongestants work for me even in the short term. Lets me get a rest from the 24/7 cough.
