Hi ALL,

I am a severe asthmatic and have suffered my whole life. I also have 11 and 17 year olds who both suffer at different severities. I have recently become aware of different Air Cleaning Products which suggest they can reduce the fine particulate count in the air by half of what the recommended levels are by The Asthma Foundation, however I cant find what these recommended level are!

Has anyone ever looked into this before? And is so what are the minimum safe levels for fine particulate matter for Indoor Air Quality please?

Thanks in advance :)

Have you tried an air purifier?

To be effective it needs to have a Hepa filter which helps to remove fine particulars as it acts as a filter.

Healthy House has some useful information about different types of air purifiers. As a seller they tend to be on the expensive side and I shop around to buy the product I need elsewhere, but the information they provide is reliable. Scroll down to the bottom of the page for all the information on different types of air purifiers.
