Been to consultant today and he's said every test I've had so far shows I don't have asthma... I said so it's not ruled out it's asthma but it's likely to not be that? .... he said no at this point in pretty much ruling put asthma
It's not copd
It could be broncheastisis
And I might have a thyroid (cortisol problem)... which interestingly we've discovered goes away when they give me steroid inhalers

I also have normal pulmonary function tests and oxygen levels and so have been told by some med prof I don’t have asthma. My current pulmonologist has told me that isn’t the case. She says the tests are useful most for people that are ‘really sick’ and that many people with asthma can test normal. The real test is whether you respond to asthma medications. I have been on Advair, Symbicort, Spiriva, etc. and have tried to come off them and haven’t been able to. It’s frustrating when the professionals don’t have definitive answers. Hang in there.
I've had blood test upon blood test and even a mannitol test and didn't react so I have to agree with the science I don't show any recordable sign of asthma... Although asthma medications make a difference
