Hi, I have had nosebleeds which is something that I've never had before and a depressed feeling.
I'm cutting down and stopping Clenil over the next week, also looking for a natural remedy although I feel ok and I have my blue inhaler for those cold days. Blue inhaler is the thing I used for years by itself anyway.
A long time ago I had Serevent which was wonderful and I was well for years. Then it was taken away and I went from one inhaler to another because none of them worked for me. Clenil Modulite was one of them. It was terrible and burnt my throat and made me cough, so I stopped taking it (having given it a second and third chance) Unfortunately I don't know of any natural preventer but one thing that helps me breathe deep is a concoction of ginger root, black pepper corns, eucalyptus leaves, cinnamon sticks, vanilla pod, star anise, thyme, basil, cardomom pods, alfalfa and fennel seeds. Simmer for 20 minutes in a big pot of water. It sounds expensive but you can make several litres which keeps ok in the fridge, just reheat when needed. Also most of the ingredients can be rinsed, kept in the fridge and reused. It really clears the airways and helps you breathe better. But you should probably tell your doctor that your preventer isn't working. Hopefully your doctor will listen 😒
Being into herbs, I will try this ; thanks very much. I will take note and it will be a weekend project : )

Update, went to my pharmacy and they agree that clenil can cause low mood. I am decreasing it and will stop by next week, it runs out then anyway.
They agreed that I can just buy the Ventolin from now on. I will probably get taken off the asthma register when I visit for my annual check but I will just buy the Ventolin elsewhere.
Already feeling a bit better on St John's and htp5..
