Does anyone have issues with prescription deliverys with boots the chemist, other than being an asthmatic I am also my disabled sister's 24/7 carer. Which obviously means I can have days in withouts being able to go out when she is unable get out of bed. Boots are refusing to deliver our meds sitting they get told off for delivering more than once a month to an address. With our meds staggered we will have to move chemists again to a more reliable one.

Hi there.
A lot of pharmacies these days are struggling with their delivery service because it’s something that they offer for free of charge but the government unfortunately implemented massive cuts to their funding which has had a huge impact on the service pharmacies are able to provide.
I know that this doesn’t help your situation but I know something that can. If you call your pharmacy and speak to one of the technicians, ask them if they can arrange a synchronisation prescription. This will align all medications. You’ll have a one off prescription with lots of odd quantities but then after that, everything will be due at the same time. It’s a win win situation for yourself and the pharmacy.
The only downside to this is that a lot of GP surgeries don’t action the request correctly. If the pharmacy and your surgery have a good working relationship, you should be fine.
I hope this helps?
