Singing and Severe Asthma (and other lung conditions)

Hi everyone

I am considering setting up a singing group / community choir in my city for those of us with lung conditions / breathing difficulties. We all know how beneficial singing can be for us and was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me? I am an experienced singer although my voice is not the same since I contracted severe asthma 🤦‍♀️ but I just love, love, love singing. I really need someone who can play a musical instrument, for example, keyboard, guitar and can donate their time for free at the beginning. I do plan to charge a little to the attendees but only for the cost of venue, facilities. If anyone knows of a suitable venue in Preston, preferably North Preston, then please let me know.

I will be attending a course in Singing for Lung Health with the BLF and am just waiting for dates.

It would be nice to do some carolling this Christmas in local nursing / old people’s homes so contact me as soon as possible.

I even have a name for the group - Songworks because it does......... 😁🎼🎸🎤🎹
