Ten years ago I was a vegan for two years. I can't say it had any effect on my asthma. I did know someone whose asthma was badly affected by a dairy allergy, but I don't think it's very common.

Thank you, I wasn’t sure if it would help, your answer was really helpful 😊

I shouldn’t think so unless you have dairy allergies. Also it is important to have a good calcium intake if you have steroids. Steroids drain bone bone density which can lead to Osteoporosis.

I'm vegan and don't think it's had a positive or negative effect, but some people who are allergic to milk or egg white would experience a difference, and on vegan Facebook groups I'm in lots of people say they have had an improvement.

If you take oral steroids, make sure you take vitamin D, as it helps them to be absorbed (veg 1 multivitamins are vegan and contain all of the vitamins you need, available on amazon).
