Symbicort maintenance and reliever therapy. You can use your own assessment when you need to take a bit more, or reduce a bit.

Yes I do since November last year - took a while to settle symptoms as I was newly diagnosed but now find it works for me.

i have been using it for about a year and am finding it good during allergy season.

Yes. It works quite well for me. When I need to take more of the Symbicort, I know that my symptoms are getting worse. If it happens over a few days, my doctor allows me to up the steroids to compensate. It's helped me control my asthma.

No, although I have bronchiectasis and asthma and take Symbicort 2 puffs twice a day. Although this has been recommended for my asthma, my Respiratory Consultant says I must never increase the dose. I suspect it is because of our susceptibility to infections with bronchiectasis that higher doses of steroids affects and lowers the immune system.
