Do you have ventolin to take when you are short of breath? Are you saying your peak flow is 184? Maybe you need to phone doctor or 111?

If you have run out of medication then get it renewed asap. 184 peak flow is very low and needs medical attention.

from your posts you seem to have had this problem for a few days, but been to hospital and seen an asthma nurse? If you are having a spirometry test done that will help nurse or doctor see how your lungs are functioning. It is only one test of several which can be done.

We can't tell you what is wrong only a doctor can help with that. We are all people with asthma who share our own experiences. Hope you get the information and support you need. It is horrible when you are breathless and important to have it medically checked. As someone else has said having a high pulse isn't a risk intself and 80 -90 beats per minute isn't high. Worrying about it can make it higher!

Hope you feel better soon and get the right medical help.
