Anyone else get horrible side effects of oral

steroids,really tired 💤 and not much of an appetite.

Steroids are such weird drugs. I’m on a long course at the moment (around 5 months) & feel constantly hungry! Strangely, I feel very bloated as predicted,look it, am eating loads but my weight hasn’t gone up too much (yet anyway).

I am getting bad headaches though & definitely feel very tired.

Hi SarahJane I am on day 3 of a short course of steroids myself. Day 3/7 and really tried too. My appetite isn't great either. The good news is no sleep disturbance.

Hi elanaoali thanks for reply Took mine at 6am and could just go back asleep 💤 but must do school run am sleeping better of a night 2 more days am done then 👌

Hi Sarah Jane I was awake at 6:15am to get my daughter up for early bus to secondary school. Then wake up other daughters plus hubbie. Drive one to sixth form now I just want to go back to bed. Have a good day.

I hate taking them, they make me quite loopy (well more than usual) I get really depressed a few days after finishing the course but they do the job.

I'm foxy79 yes I'm on 40mg steroids have been for years worse things are counts less it will keep on coming no stops best things are will keep you safe from bugs and infection after few months your body depends on it then it's bad news like mines bloating appetite sleepless night shakes and makes your bones weak I'm 37 years old I have copd respiratory type 2 asthma broncechtisis emphysema I'm on oxygen nebulizer and bipeb machine everyday if you can go without perdiesoline I'll say go without it or take less as possible cause it will build up and body will crave or will need it down the time take care 🙏
