All I know is, if you have asthma or copd there's no chance you will get cure for it you're stuck with it and that's it, like I have, for 10 long years maybe more, still struggling with it, good luck everyone.

It’s not easy and I am not going to tell you to try and be positive. I seem to have a lot more bad days than good (and getting worse) but I always try to survive the bad days and do by best to enjoy the good days. We all know that there is no magical cure (yet) but maybe one day!!!!

Hubby has had asthma since a boy, but has recently turned it around by taking vitamin D3. Check your vitamin D blood levels jackmata and take a look on vitamindcouncil.com for up to date blood levels and doses of vitamin D3.

Also we found later that his asthma medication, symbicort was actually causing his asthma to worsen and cause him excruciating leg cramps.

He is no longer needing both his preventative or rescue inhaler since on vitamin D3, but we always take an inhaler with us, never say never.

Oh my goodness Symbicort did the same to me (leg cramps). Also it was causing more inflammation for months for me. I'm on Fostair now and its much better though yesterday I did have to be nebbed (I have a cold/chest infection) but the neb really helped and the chest infection is coming out in a "normal" way instead of the fighting against the asthmatic over reaction I usually get. Also on steroids and antibiotics.

Taking vitamin D3 helps keep colds and flu at bay and is an anti inflammatory. Since on D3 Hubby and I have not had flu or colds. It was the chesty colds that use to start hubby's nasty asthma attacks, later we found that symbicort should have only been used for a short while and that symbicort could actually cause asthma ??? We now keep to natural cures such as vitamins and minerals and nutrition. I never realized that vitamins could be so powerful.

We also take magnesium as it relaxes muscles all over our body, including the lungs, heart, organs etc. also stops cramps :)
