Sorry for moany post. Looking for top tips for dealing with that steroid need to get everything done all at once feeling. I'm shattered from lack of sleep and lack of breath and ( I know this is ridiculous) am just not managing to settle because I feel like I have so much to do. Have been up since just after 6 and have got a few things done but I feel no closer to finished. My long suffering husband lost patience this morning as he thinks I'm not helping myself (and he is right) but if I just stop I feel really teary so I'm calmer if I stay busy.
I know it won't last and I ll feel better in a few days but if anyone has a great way of dealing with feeling like this Id love to hear it
Xxx

Don't worry about having a moan. I just finishing a course of steroids 3 was longer and tailoring off last few days on reducing dose of 4/3/2/1. So yip had steroid blast of energy and not much sleep.
How to manage it? Be kind to yourself it will pass ... Acknowledge that this is the way it is for now. I have read lots of books in the middle of the night. Done washing and packed lunch for daughters. The joke is what time did I do it answer 1st last night.
Hi. it's hard, but I have found that I have to accept that I cant do everything. When on steroids I have to have a day where I do nothing - maybe just feed / drink if needed! Then it's slowly, slowly does it! Tis a pain, but can't change it. Good Luck - its sooooo frustrating!!!
