I've read that studies in US prove that certain strains of Cannibis taken as Edibles, Vapours if smoking is harmful can be a great benefit to some Asthma symtoms, True or False ?, Opinions ?. Seems strange.

There's been quite a lot of discussion about it on the BLF forum; people use cannabis oil in various ways (incl. nebulising it, I think).

It is, of course, illegal to buy, sell or possess it though, even if you cite medical reasons as a defence. I think there is some growing evidence that chemical components of the plant might be usable in medicines, but that's a long way from owning your own supply.

Cannabis is said to have all kinds of miracle properties, but the side effects are very grim. Research is being done to try to isolate the effective ingredients & to avoid the side effects, but has come up with very little so far. There are good reasons why cannabis is illegal - you try this at your peril.

No intendion of experimenting with cannabis for Asthma, just some US marketing I think. Smoking it would be obviously dumb. I not suggesting it has any merit and have never tried it and not suggesting anyone else should.
