Welcome to the forum Sarah Jane! Sorry to hear about your troubles..All those inhalers have funny taste, make sure you rinse your mouth afterwards. Take care xx
Awwww thank u I can rest now x
Yes I usually brush my teeth also it prevents oral thrush which is one of the side effects of these steroid inhalers..
Yeh I've been doing that just the taste is still there probably because I can taste better now packed in smoking in November x
Hi Sarahjane, welcome to the forum.
I used to just clean my teeth after using my steroid inhaler, and then I was told by a respiratory consultant that that was definitely not enough (which I found interesting given that the information leaflet accompanying my inhaler implied that cleaning teeth was adequate). Now I gargle and rinse out, clean my teeth and then gargle and rinse out again, a routine described by the same respiratory as "about right".
Thank you Maggie am gonna try the gargle and rinse xx
Sarah Anne - I notice goat air is one of the inhalers you take I guess like me it's two twice a day. I have been using it plus Alvesco and ventilin for about two years. I don't notice any taste from taking them but I think it has contributed to little appetite.
Hi geoff am on fostair just feels so I have a horrid taste all the time unless it's my tablets montelukast
