My hands always shake, not just after taking an inhaler. I always thought it was just a side-effect of either the illness or the treatment but I've absolutely no idea why it happens! Be interesting to see if anyone does know.
Its because ventolin is a stimulant; as in stimulates the body to relax the airways in the lungs. It also encourages potassium to flow in blood cells which can cause a tremor as well.
Its a common side effect which isn't entirely understood but happens especially if you take a lot over a short period of time.
I asked my Respiratory Consultant this question and he explained that it is side effects of all the medication I have to take for my asthma.
VENTOLIN relaxes ur pipes so that its not so hard to breath so ur heart goes faster hence the shaking hands
