I'm not to sure what type of asthma i have, I get asthma symptoms at night time when sleep (Tightness of chest and coughing and some time wheezing) I also get asthma symptoms when walking into town which is about 1/2 mile.
Also if i'm round someone that is smoking i have to move away from them as i can feel my airway spasm.
I currently take a Blue Inhaler up to 2puffs 3 times day & up to 4 puffs at night and Brown Clenil Moduilte 50 inhaler 2 puffs 2 times a day
Best Regards
David

If you feel like that despite your current medication, it means your asthma is not properly controlled. I would go back to the GP and ask for a Respiratory Clinic referral. There you will get properly evaluated and they will find the appropriate treatment for you. You will get an action plan and know what to do, what to take and when.
Hi David, I have never thought about the type of asthma I have. I know if anyone goes near me who smokes, or has perfume, aftershave etc it affects me. Household product s, that smell, a no no. Deodorant, shampoo conditioner soap all have to be perfume free. Flowers, scented candles yeah gods no . the world is just a stinky place and not suitable for special people like us
I agree with Happy London, sounds like your Asthma is not under control. If it was under control, then you would hardly need to use your blue ventolin\salbutamol inhaler much at all. The idea is that your preventer inhaler controls your Asthma so you only need the blue one occasionally. I would ask to be referred to the Respiratory clinic.
