Anyone on flixotide

Just wondered whether anyone is on this and any good or bad reports. could not get on with clenil as it made me exhausted and very tired

Hi, I am on 1000mcg a day of it, but in the form of seretide - it's a combo, but has the same steroid as flixotide.

I haven't had any horrible side effects: brush your teath after using it, use a spacer etc. I occasionally get hoarse, but im on a v high dose! Don't get tired or anything with it.

Are you already on it? If you're not you could always ask your gp to try it to see if you get on with it. Try on a low dose to start with and step up if necessary, which should lessen the chance of side effects.

Hi Lola, I was on 1000mcg of flixotide for about a year, now on seretide due to lack of control on the steroid only, I didn't have any problems with it, however ive never taken clenil for comparison. I've tried loads of different inhalers, I think its just a case of trial and error until you find what's right for you and your asthma!!

I have tryed flixatide on it's own and in serevent.

I notice more horseness with flixatide than with clinel.

However didn't get exhustion with clinel, but it made me very moody

and horse.

Flixatide can work well hope things improve
