I have a 2yr old with asthma, his sats are 92 oxy and heart rate 125, his on 2 puffers blue one and a white one. Which I've given him every 2 hrs. When do you go in to A&E???? He seems to be sleeping peacefully and when awake happy and lively and not working too hard to breath, so should I leave him to sleep or get him up to A&E?

Hi Alison
It is the rules of the forum never to give medical advice, because many of us are not medically qualified. I would recommend highly if you need medical advice about visiting your local A & E with your son, to first get in touch with your out of hours doctors service. If you don't know the number dial your local doctor's practise as out of hours they usually leave a number on the message service. Talk over your concerns with the out of hours doctor and let them guide you into taking the right decision. Though if at any time you feel that your sons condition is no longer stable don't wait around and seek advice at your local A & E immediately.
Hi, If you've not done already it's time to get your little one to a and e sharp ish. A 2 year old with stats of 92 and hr of 125 means he's probs working quite hard. Even if the hospital don't need to do anything you won't be wasting their time to get him checked over and to get further advice however if you leave it you don't know what will happen. I would strongly recomed you go to a and e if you decide not to please phone NHS direct to get some advice. Good luck and let us know what happens!
