consent coughing peak flow 200-400 tops is this normal?

hi im a 46 yr old guy justgot told i had asthma 6mths but seasonel by doctor because i have a consent cough (used to be just in winter when i was younger on damp days)some days worse then others but it rips my chest apart and burns my lungs you could fry a egg on it after a fit of coughing and makes chest tight my peak flow between 200 and 400 is the best ive had im on fostair but makes me cough more ive had the brown one and grey blue one do other people get this ? im pretty fit 46 inch chest did go to gym regular but this blood cough
