if you have a cure, why not share it with us rather than wanting us to email you, which has been removed by the MODS. If it's so good then don't we all need to know it and Oh I must have missed it in my reading of the scientific papers 
Hi asthmagirl, thanks for reporting this post. I'm having to reply on thread as we're still awaiting the PM facility to be re-instated.
There's nothing in the T&Cs to stop him posting about something he feels may help asthma sufferers... particularly as he is not proposing anything outright dangerous, in fact he's not proposing anything at all other than to email him, which I've removed. Thanks for your report though.

if there was a cure for asthma, it would have been found by now by qualified doctors. as someone new to asthma I find this topic really wrong. when you're dealing with a new condition and emotions are coming into play, the last thing you need is someone trying to take advangtage of you with a so called miracle cure. if 1 million people in a room have asthma it would effect them differently no 2 people asthma is the same. what works for one person will not work for the other. Giving people false hope is wrong when they are dealing with a serious condition.
I do appreciate your viewpoint, modine, and also agree somewhat with it. As moderators we have to walk a fine line between policing posts and allowing free speech. Several board members will tell you of alternative/complementary therapies which have helped their asthma, so it would be wrong of us to suppress discussions regarding these ideas unless they are plain dangerous or are outright advertising. Hope you understand our views on this.

Able, can I ask what it is you are actually offering here ? A few details would be appreciated on what the product is, how it works and before you or anyone else says I'm having a go at you, I'm open to complimentary therapies.
I have a gut feeling we are going down the dried seaweed route... Could be wrong... 
I'm open to alternative therapy always have been. I do breathing exercisies every day to help myself control my breathing better, my brother goes to the gym everyday to help get is lungs bigger and apart from his preventer doesn't use his reliever, so I know there are things you can do to ease the condition, but I have to at the same time not fool myself into thinking for instance that the breathing exercises will CURE my asthma. I have a very serious medical condition that I won't get into and the one thing I'm learn over the last eight years is you have to be realistic and deal with one you're going through and not put all your hopes into alternative medication, I've seen friends stop taking medication and just go down the alternative route and their condition just get worse and there was no going back to taking their medication because when they started on it again the damage had already been done. so sorry if I offend one.
