Considering a warning on this user - posting under ""Questions"" in Parents and Carers. Seems to have a right old bee in their bonnet about steroids being the worst thing in the world. Well meaning, I'm sure, but slightly alarming. What do you think?

Def. agree, stopping conventional medicine is downright dangerous in some cases and leaves the NHS to pick up the pieces. Can you tell I live near Glastonbury?

Also think they say the same re steroids amongst the rather confusingly writing in 'Asthma and homeopathy' which we've both replied to now.

Any more thoughts on this Cathbear? Why is there a last post date of 22nd Feb but the actual last is 9th, confusing me?

Also whilst on topic of parents & carers, had a message re Slo-phyllin and taking apart slow release capsules. Did respond along lines of 'contains enteric coated granules and ok to take with a spoon of soft food like yogurt but check with doctor for other meds'. Not something I take myself so feel free to correct me.

Ho hum, back off out to the sun I go :)

Not sure what you mean re: last post, TJ? They only made 2 posts, one on the 9th, and one on the 22nd. I have held off on the warning for the moment, as they've not yet been back - will keep an eye, and if they're going to be a ""fixture"" I will have a quiet word. Not quite sure how to put it other than ""don't be silly""?!

Theo sounds fine, as long as none of the S/R quality of the caps is contained in the capsule itself (which, as they are S/R granules, shouldn't be) - should be fine to split the caps and mix with food.

I meant when I looked at 'Parents & Carers main page > Questions!!' > Last post: 22 Feb 12 but then clicking through all the posts are from the 9th of Feb? Their second post is on the 22th under 'Medical >

Asthma and homeopathy'

Has responded under a new thread 'Medical > Asthma and Homeopathy' tinyurl.com/6t43vcd claiming misunderstanding etc and does not ""advise to stop conventional therapy"" ""GUIDING NOT MISGUIDING"", helps ""especially for children"" etc

Please note ?unsolicited PM reported under separate thread

I have responded, because I'm getting rather miffed at these ""we can cure your asthma"" rubbish-peddlers.

Wowzers, go Steve! Well said, I have to agree.

Does that count as a warning or any other action to be taken as yet?

Irritatingly, it's not a warning yet because I can't quite see that he's broken any of the T&Cs. I've also just received a PM from him:

""Peaksteve,It 's nice to read very practical reply and getting very disappointed with homeopath consultants in your area because it is their duty to prove homeopathy medicines in asthmatic patients, otherwise nobody will come to know.you know there is one quote by our founder of homeopathy-HOMEOPATH MAY FAILS ,HOMEOPATHY NEVER FAILS.Steve,I would like to request you to do something research work with homeopathic medicines also. After all our aim is to give fight against this disease only, doesn't matter with what medicines!""

My reply is to-the-point, and then has a friendly ending:

""I'm afraid that stating that homeopathy never fails is just downright rubbish - sorry, but there is absolutely no proof AT ALL that homeopathy can provide a 100% success rate - no form of treatment can.

However, Asthma UK always looks at all kinds of treatment when they are researching - as you say, it doesn't matter what form of medicine is involved as long as it helps asthma sufferers.

Steve""

I await a response...
