On the plus side, at least your GP gives you pred. Mine keeps telling me I dont fit the criteria as I dont wheeze.

When Docs change your meds because you are not stable sometimes you need to be on pred as well to stabilise and then the new meds may still work well and be what you ar elooking for. I am going to cons appt in 10 days and expecting a full overhaul of meds as have been on pred for 2 and a half months but will still be on them fro a long time after appt I expect. Pred is just a really effective (in most cases) way of calming everything down and reducing all the inflammation and twitchiness going on in your lungs and then the new meds (Fostair) will be able to get in and do their job.

think i want to cry as the dr said well it could just be panic so said well started like this again after dancing slowly that when he oh well try the pred

My advice is too laugh, providing you can breath enough too laugh that is

Grannymo! Dont your doc know that not all asthmatics wheeze??

BTW, bet you loads of us have been told we having panic attack at some time, plus the good old you overbreathing & you arent breathing properly are you!!

Yes, i would love to say that, but by that point im usually thinkin shut up you fool & give me a neb before i stop breathin all together!!
