Thanks Glynis. Didn't know that. Do they know you have asthma by doing that or simply that you can't talk as breathless?
Have heard people register with local ambulance service if more frequent calls too.
Did you know about using ICE i.e. in case of emergency contact... with numbers in your mobile phonebook?
You follow instructions then text yes. Think they do but not had to use it yet. yes I know about ice but thats good also for members to do xxx

I never knew that...thank you so much. Have been in that situation and had to rely on the very nice passer by to help me. That does seem so simple. Will get onto it.
That sounds cool. I have my own version lol. My boyfriend is a paramedic in the ambulance service that I'm gonna be living in when I move back to england. All I'll have to do is text him
Thanks again Glynis. Have registered now and their website is emergencysms.org.uk
where they ask for ""Which? Need Ambulance, Coastguard, Fire Rescue, or Police
What? Briefly, what is the problem
Where? Exactly where is it Give the name of road and town
Plus more information like: house number; or nearby landmarks or main roads
For example your SMS text message might read:
'ambulance. man having a heart attack. outside post office. valley road watford'""
Elephant2001, whereabouts are you moving to in England? Good luck with the move
