Please can you stop shouting, a lot of people can't read if you post in caps. The answer is yes you can get DLA for asthma it won't make any difference that you have members of your family who are epileptic. I suggest you have a word with your dr to see if they support a claim and that you ask the CAB to help with the form filling if you struggle with it.

I have to say that asthma has to have a quite a large impact on your life to qualify for DLA, above all be honest on the forms, remember they will contact hospital consultants and GP's so don't over egg the pudding.

thanx, dont think i will bother to try claim.i get puffed out alot and dont drive.I dont get any help with my OA and mobility probs or incapacity.i find working a strugle ,but as i work in a school they are so helpful and cater for disabilitys.its so unfair,i know lots of people playing the system and walk normal ,run about and get it.i feel like reporting them but im not like that
