Not a happy new year for the Royal Marsden. Haagendaaz, stay away from the Brompton, next door - the smell around here from the fire, and I'm a mile and a half away, is far, far worse than the fireworks.

Hello all i hope u all had a goodxmas im using paintline in costa addenbrookes so beareith me first time doing this.off2 get siunises sorted sometime tommorow had a butof ado getting here they ended up sending ataxi but driver was ace with my bagage thengot to hospital n asked at main desk about were i wwas staying nno info so she phone up butim ok now got my bed please can someone putamessage on bb site as cant geton though pline

hopefully with this op i might get more stable with my lungs then 08 willbe a very happy yr got lots2 lookforward 2 im getting on really well with spike meet all the family at xmas

That sucks Alan, fires are the worst. I am 6 miles away, and i cant notice anything luckily. A fire is what got me like this to begin with.

Smokes all gone now. That was terrible. On a good note, it sounds like parts of the Marsden may be back in use in a couple of days. RBH sounds busy though.
