Humidifers

My occupational nurse has suggested a humidifer at work.Do they help in a dry hot office?

yeh, but be careful what type you get. warm mist is preferable more like a boiling kettle. I use one at home in the winter and have good results, use the search box and you'll find other posts on their use.
