Honey!

Sucking cought sweets.

Yoghurt?

Thanks kate i will have a go of all 3 recommended xxxxxxxxxxx

I suspect it is the nebs more than the oxygen that has caused the bad throat they are in a salt solution and it really can dry you out. It should pass in a day or 2 try throat sweets for a day or 2.

Hiya

Sucking ice helps

all of the suggested seem to help/If you are likely to be admitted again ask about having humdified o2, i find it helps alot even if it is the nebs that are the main drying culprit/

I had exactly the same experience recently after an admission kerry-anne, it does pass eventually, but is very uncomfortable while it lasts. I found that sucking throat lozenges helped a bit.
