Almo! LOL!!

Regarding your poor graseby, do you have a little bag to pop it in?

I have made numerous bags ( one for every season, mood) in the past but currently using a redesigned money pouch. They all have belt loops and are secured either with poppers, velcro or zips!

Hi Kate

Have had all sorts over the years to carry/disguise syringe driver. Now just tend to stick with a handbag that i always wear across my body then no-one can see i have it on and just look at me funny when it beeps, another plus is if anyone tries to steal my bag i go with it ah ah!!!!!!

Haha that made me laugh almo! I brought a money belt it was just the right size but didnt stay put, now like you I just put it in my handbag.

My graseby went a bit funny recently after constantly being dropped, then started beeping at the slightest knock, new one seems a bit more sturdy! I think my resp nurse is fed up replacing them 3rd one ive broke in 5 months......

Hi Clare

I have lost count of how many syringe drivers i av had over the years. My daughter used to want it as a train and likes pushing the boost button even when I am not blue!!! Before anyone tells me this is not a good idea I know normally children should not go near meds but my daughter as been brought up with them and she is very sensible (more than me really). The first thing she told her teacher and friends at school was that mummy has a lot of drugs at home and when they come to play they are not allowed near them cos v dangerous not the best first impression i av ever made lol!!!!

almo that made me laugh about your daughter and what tells friends, bless her.

Hope you had fun bowling even if was hard work, for pump too by sounds of it.

With regards to what all being saying about carrying the pump just thought pass on how i carry mine and how have done fpr last couple yrs now.

Like you Kate i had bags made especially by my mum to perfectly fit the pump in without its carry case and wore a velcro strap round waist to velcro it onto if wasnt wearing trousers with belt etc and all my bags matched with eveything like black/ blue for jeans etc.

However, couple yrs ago i was bridesmaid and didnt want to have to wear it in the little bag or have it on show at all so wanted to find a way of straping it to my leg under dress. Nurses on ward initially sggested catheter straps!!!!

After much thinking i came up with an idea with the dress maker to use a tubi grip support that i put on lower leg then place pump on it and pull rest of tubi bk up and over the pump. It sits perfectly on my shin and is very comfy, well once got used to it and bttr still with wearing trousers you cant see it at all!!

I know this wouldnt work for everyone but for me its been great esp for work as just cant see it.

Have even used extra large tubi grip to wear on inside of thigh when wearing skirts, but this is far less comfy than wearing on shin but ok for now and again. Still use bags from time to time to give break from leg and aslo in summer when wearing shorts etc.

Judt thought would pass on my experience for anyone who might want to try carrying it a diff way.

HOpe all on half term having good wk.

Take care

When i got married many moons ago i couldnt think wot to do with pump so had dressmaker make a pocket in the underskirt. This worked well until my 4 bridesmaids on the day decided this would be an ideal place to put all their make-up and a camera!!!! All went well until i had to kneel down on the alter (having a catholic service) and out poured everything an omen maybe (am now seperated) lol!!!!
