Is anybody aware of any publications on monoclonal antibodies GSK679586A for asthma treatment. I will really appreciate any help to find out what kind of cytokine it is specific to as well as any info on its efficacy, safety etc.

Need to complete a research on cytokine inhibition role in asthma therapy.

As far as I can determine, there are no published trials on this MAB in the treatment of asthma. There is one trial ongoing - details at clinicaltrials.gov/show/NCT.... This is a phase I trial, so I would assume that there is no previously published safety and efficacy data.

I see from your profile that you are an MD in the US. Do you not have literature search facilities at your institution? I don't think any of us are going to be able to provide any information over and above what you might find from a simple Google search or Pubmed search.

I don't know if you are aware that this is primarily a patient discussion forum. Whilst we do have healthcare professionals on here, and there is a separate area for them, we are very unlikely to have the sort of information you are asking for.
