Viral Infections

Hoping someone can help me out and my mind has just gone to swiss cheese and I know I should know the answer to this question... Can viral infections make your asthma worse? I realise bacterial infections do aggreviate asthma... Thanks...

Haha Swiss cheese, I know the feeling lol! Should go to bed now...

Think short answer is yes, definitely they can! Colds are viral and tend to make asthmatics worse, and I am where I am now with my breathing because of an infection I think was swine flu a couple of years ago and then a bit later a nasty cold. Damn those viral infections.

I hope this is just asking and you don't have one?

Viral infections definitely make my asthma worse, and my son's. Any cold sets our asthma off.
