Heart attack?

The very title of your post implies that you think this pain may be cardiac in origin.

Your query is a genuine one, but the internet is *not* the correct place to be asking this kind of question.

If you are worried the pain is cardiac, then you need to see a doctor NOW, not later, not tomorrow, and certainly not after waiting for replies on here.

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, but there has been a worrying trend recently for people to ask for emergency advice on these boards - this is worrying and upsetting for regular board users, and isn't an appropriate way of seeking emergency medical advice.

Please go and get yourself checked out, and I hope you are feeling better soon.

I completely agree with cathbear. Just to reassure you it is highly unlikely you are having a heart attack as if it is correct your profile says you are 18. However, this does not mean that the pain might not be serious, please get checked out.

I agree- if you are concerned about chest pain please get help. It may be your heart, it may be your lungs, it may be serious, it might not, but without seeing your doctor you won't know.
