hi smithy
i had similar probs when switched to seretide a few years ago i know from previous threads started on seretide that others have had similar problems.
i now use a spacer for takin inhalers through and use mouthwashafter which helps a lot with reducing husky voice and sore throat side effects.
hope this helps

Hi Smithy,
I've been on Seretide for a few years now but have noticed my voice has gone a lot huskier since my dosage was increased from 125 to 500. Weidly it is not all the time, seems ot come and go but is more often than not husky, and I also now lose my voice a lot when I ahve throat infections, I think last winter I lost my voice about 5 times, which was a huge increase from the usual 1 - 2 times a year in previous years! Oh the joys of meds!!
Hi,
I've been on Symbicort since July 05 when I was diagnosed & have had a husky voice every since then I was my mouth thoroughly, & am still husky, my doc said I could change to Seretide if i wanted too, but I would still have same problem.
It's a pain in the butt.
