My friend has has 9 attacks

One of my friends has had 9 asthma attacks since last Thursday and has been back and forward to hospital with the symptoms. They were telling her she overdosed on her medication, but I highly doubt she did, as I think the attacks would have gone by now.

She is being told so many different things, and now she is being told she may have pnueomia (dont know if that is how you spell it.

She lives in Birmingham and I am in Fife, and I am very worried about her, I just dont know what to do. I suppose all I can really do is sit tight and worry about the symptoms I have been having of late.

Does anyone have any advice or experience of this kind of situation?

I would recommend you tell your friend to go to her GP and each time she has an attack to go to A and E. She needs urgent medical attention. We are not allowed to give medical advise on the site as we cannot see your friend. Welcome to the asthma Uk boards though. I hope you friend gets the help she needs soon
