Muscle ache after steroid intake?

Hiya all,

I finished a 7 day course of amoxicillin 500mg and 40mg steroids 3days ago. Noticed muscle aches all over from yesterday and still really tired. Seeing my asthma nurse tomorrow but was wondering if anyone else has same probs?

I feel like a 90 yr old!!!

I suffer really badly with muscle cramps when i am on steroids and immediatey after for about 3-4 days. I have also suffered with muscles aches but generally speaking thats when i am on the treatment as opposed to experiences post treatment.

When you have antibiotics they can leave your immune system low so that could be the tiredness not sure about the muscle ache.
