loss of voice

Hi, just wondering if anyone else suffers from recurrant loss of voice, I never used to have this problem but in the last few months I have lost my voice twice and it only seems to happen when I have a chest infection and it last for about 2 weeks, I don't think it's my inhalers cause I use them with a spacer, any ideas?

well I'm seeing my doc tommorrow so maybe he will have some answers! how long do you normally lose your voice for, also is it just when you have an infection or at random times? mine only seems to be when I have an infection.

Loss of voice

Yes, I lose my voice too, and it seems to be pretty regular! Have just found out I've got asthma, but have been losing my voice every couple of months for a couple of years now. Had a bad bout 3 years ago when I lost it for 4 days, but since then, seems to be for a few hours to a day. Seems to happen when I'm most ""clogged up"".
