Interesting but not my cause. Used HRT patch for two days in my 30s before BBC News broke news that the tablet I'd been given had been flagged up as the cause of this and that. The box went in the bin. Never used any other. Patches or tablets. Growing old and gracefully.

Interesting paper - however its headline is somewhat misleading, as there is no causation proven, only that women who take HRT are more likely to develop asthma. Subtle, but important difference.
