Asthma headaches?

Hi

The past couple of times, following discharge from hospital I have had cracking headaches wereby I can barely lift my head off of the pillow and feel very sick. They last a couple of days and aren't relieved by painkillers. Is this a coincidence or is it related to having an asthma attack? Does anybody else have similar probs?

I often get quite a severe headache after an attack, my con said its due to lack of oxygen getting to the brain during an attack. I usually take painkillers for it.

yep my daughter and i both suffer with these headaches after a attack a couple of paracetamol and a rest/nap soon sorts it

I get exactly the same once I have had a really bad attack...My asthma nurse puts it down to the Iprotrpium, cos i always have the headache after having that stuff ( and possibly the lack of sleep I get whilst in hospital!!!), and it really makes me feel sick too..
