cold

does anyone else feel worse when they ave a cold etc? i am totally choked up and feel awful with it. i used to be able to run around as normal when i had a cold!

Every cold I've had for about the last three years has totally flatten me! It wasn't until being diagnosed with asthma this year that it started making sense - thought my symptoms were from chest infections before (I've always avoided doctors if at all possible, in hindsight maybe not the best idea!).

Hope you're feeling better soon, may be worth talking to dr or asthma nurse about increasing your meds until you get over it.

yes having a cold does exacerbate asthma..just be careful and if your asthma seems to be getting worse contact your doc ps..keep a careful eye on your peakflow

cheers for that. i seem to be couging like crazy and my chest is hurting, peak flow ain't too bad though which is good. heading back to work today but may just do a half shift so can try to get rid of this.
