I V Salbutamol

Just a quickie,

Is it usual to vomit after IV Salbutamol, my son was fine on 1mg but within an hour of increasing it to 2mg he was violently sick for about 2 hours. In the end they stopped the Salbutamol and gave him fluids instead. I was aware amino could make you sick but didn't know Salbutamol did.

havent been om here for ages but just noticed your post. I actually have been sick with both iv salbutamol and iv amino but I always found it wourse with salbutamol.... touch wood haven had either for a while but just to say have had the same problem. Hope your son is feeling better

yes i think so i always vomit when i have iv salbutamol and not just whilst having it but for a day or two afterwards
