Yes, very weird and a bit concerning. The problem with things like this being used as a fashion accessory is that when a genuine asthmatic, like me who has an Omron microair, uses one and is having a severe attack it may not be taken seriously.

This happened 10-15 years ago with food allergies - it became fashionable for celebs etc to have a 'food allergy' to hide their fussy eating habits.

Anyway, I wonder what she is nebulising in it? It isn't misting in the photos?

If she is using it with nowt in, I can't see any benefit at all apart from an upset nebuliser!

Anyone know what can help voice via neb?

tinyurl.com/mpaxuf Just shrunk it cos it was taking ages to load and gaps everywhere!

Let's spray: Madonna was carrying a bottle of Omron nebuliser""

A bottle?! I swear, celebs are coming up with more and more stupid ideas every day.

What is she nebulising tho?

And if it is something like salbutamol...who gave her a prescription?

wouldn't be surprised if she was nebulising something like Saline :/ I agree it isn't right her having one, just because you have the money to buy such a thing and its a novelty, it is an item of medical equipment which should be used responsibility not as a fashion accessory/fad. Maybe the media shouldn't be alerting to it either because some mad people will note she has an Omron nebuliser and might just buy one for the sake of it.

Before we all go over the top on this and assume omrons are only for asthmatics, we don't know if it was recommended to be used with say normal saline or even salbutamol. No-where does it say it is fashion acessory. Presumably she will have private Dr who might have recommened it and even prescribed salbutamol. Terbutaline is used to prevent premature labour some drugs will also help other conditions some of them rare. So lets not jump the gun.
