Tip Of The Day

Don't eat dry oatcakes when you're thirsty.

You'd think this would be obvious but I've just had a new awakening experience with this - all remains of any moisture sapped from my mouth and a sticky mush of oatcake gluing my tongue to the roof of my mouth. Don't try it.

thanks for the tip about oatcakes.sorry to hear about your ordeal with the oatcake,i also have had the same sort of thing happen to me, but mine was with a a muffin what was a bit dry,i was out at the time and when it hit my throat i started to cough and coulnt stop, the people around just looking at me i felt a bit of a plonk, but a drink and a few puffs of my inhaler soon sorted it out.so be carefull with muffins as well, you gave me a giggle, well needed today!!!!

be carefull what you eat from d58 xx

Mmmm! sticks like peanut butter me thinks!

Now, I do like oat cakes with peanut butter on but plenty to drink at the same time.

Allergies

Today's tip of the day is quite apt for many of us here ... though p'raps not quite to the same extent as this:

Allergies - Don't condemn others for their actions unless you know the cause. That masked man waving a gun in the bank may just be having an allergic reaction to pollen. - Alistair Beaton
