As confirmation that modern life is rubbish,Katie Prices ""books"" are probably better sellers than any of Kurts humane ,anachronistic gems-if anyone is interested I suggest Breakfast of Champions or Slaughterhouse 5

RIP Kurt.

Bluejam - what kind of books are they?

I haven't read either of them, but isn't Slaughterhouse 5 about being in a prisoner of war camp?

Spaniel, most of his early books were described as Sci-fi-but they arent gadgets and space wars type books, they are more about ""people"" but in a slightly warped way-Becky,Slaughterhouse 5 is nominally the tale of his incarceration in Dresden during the fire-storm that all but wiped the city out-but wanders off into fantasies about being paired up with a woman on another planet-I havent really done them justice, but Im sure you will enjoy them!
