At the minute, I'm using Firefox, but dad's trying to sway me towards Google Chrome. Has anyone used it or have any ideas? I refuse point blank to use Internet Explorer, I reckon it's made of fire and flames. I've used Safari in the past aswell, but didn't get on well with it.
Cheers!

I agree with your Dad. Chrome does it for me but then I've always been a confirmed Googler.
My older daughter uses Safari on her i-Mac. My husband uses Mozilla and my younger daughter uses Internet Explorer or Firefox.
Its your choice. 8)
Vicky,
use google chrome if you want, but IE, Firefox, and Safari are the top three, and google collects heaps of internet data, perhaps so you can get lots of pop-up adds in the near future.
Have you had a problem with firefox? If not and it works for you, why go to the hassle of changing, and I've heard a few that put a system failure down to using or installing chrome, but as they say, the choice is yours.
Best of luck in what ever you decide.
Chris
Hey Chris,
No, I'm not having any problems with Firefox. I'm definitely going to stay with it now. I'm already having enough problems without trying to install something that's going to make it worse!
Cheers everyone!
Well I am newly converted to Google Chrome, and like it very much, but I have still kept Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. Its personal choice really, what ever works for you, if you like it stick with it.
I use firefox I changed when I realised that it used 10 times less of my precious mb's per month when using a 3G card that was back in the day when it cost £75 for 250mb a month! IE is constantly sending data backwards and forwards when you are using it therefore usming more bangwidth. I am now wedded to it although I do sometimes at home use IE or safari for testing stuff.

Just to throw another name into the mix, although I use Firefox on all of my PCs I am something of a fan of Opera. It's the fastest, least-system-hungry browser of all and worth a look at.
With firefox playing silly buggers, and refusing to load websites after viewing around 12 or so sites, and i'm not alone, i decided to search for something else as a temporary measure, and wow have i found a fast and small browser, it has no instalation file, just download and run, it's called 'The World Browser' and it's based in IE, but the speed is impressive, and the download file is less than 0.75mb, and unzipped into a folder is only 1.36mb. I will still use firefox as my main browser, as it's so much friendlier.
