Has been an absolute age since Em and i have been online, for those of you who we chatted to, we apologise !! And those of you we haven't ""Hello"". Life has been hectic.....poor excuse i know.
We have been up and down with Ems health in the past year. To cut a long story short, we are now waiting to hear if the PCT will fund her Xolair injections. She has had 5 admissions since November, lots of time off school and is generally fed up, Bless her !!
Have encouraged her to get back on the message board again and chat to others and she told me i had to do the same !! So here we are again !! So, any messages would be fab but if anyone has had some good experiences getting funding for Xolair please let us know. The unknown is always a little scary, although the thought of them saying no is scarier still.
Love and Best Wishes

Hello, welcome back, funding should not be an issue now - since November when NICE 'approved' it. It should just be that you have to fulfil certain criteria ie have a certain number of admissions and an IgE blood test result within a certain range - the Asthma advice line told me this today. Hope it helps, take good care, Lois
