Any tips
Hi Amanda - well, i don't think that's a decision you should be making on your own! you said you had an "assessment" - if you've been diagnosed with all that - and I know you said you were diagnosed with PTSD 20 years ago - then you MUST be offered treatment, and I think it's for a professional to sit down and discuss with you the best way forward!
Have you been offered any treatment - either medication, or talking treatment, CBT - anything? Because if not - well, they can't just tell you what you've got and leave it to you to work it out for yourself.
If you haven't been offered treatment or referral to a psych health team/therapist, go back to your GP and ask!!!! You can't, and shouldn't have to, do this alone.
And keep posting, hun, lots of support on here!
Love

Thanks for the reply the lady I spoke to was not to sure and explained she needed to talk to others . I do have a new appointment in a month on tablets and to focus on my visions and relax about them
Hey thats too much for you to deal with so leave the plan to the health professionals. It's too overwhelming and way too much pressure to think about the big picture. Just take small steps maybe a short walk, relaxing bath, read a book or magazine. try to eat well and be kind to yourself until your next appointment and let us know how you get on take care love eve x
Hi there I love what Eve39 has said! try not to play on your mind, do things you enjoy doing. I suffer from ocd I havent been diagnosed by professionals yet, the first place I went to was This tues an ocd meeting group, I look up on the internet for ocd meeting groups in my area, they were so lovely and helpful this was held at a charity mental health place called Mind may be look up some places where you live of mental health organisations or any ocd groups (this is a big thing for me too very nervous) Mind for me is very good because I can pop in and talk to some one any time about thoughts and worries and they know what their talking about and the lady that holds the group her son has ocd and she has said I can call her any time they gave me a great information pack too and I have gone and got the health supplements suggested on the list to help and are working very well straight away. I think it takes alittle while before professionals get whats right for you, to get the right therapies so just hold on in there and try and find some other organisations yourself near where you live. I hope these thoughts are helpful in some way. Kindest regards x
