Hello! I joined this community a few days ago. I've been struggling with anxiety for almost 8 months (although it took many of those months to figure out what it was). I found Claire Weekes' books about 6 weeks ago and it is just this week that I think I've finally started getting a hang of the "let it go"/acceptance. It's the hardest "do nothing" that I've ever experienced in my life but I've appreciated BeeVee's and Calm_Mama's posts as encouragement and guidance!

So glad that you found Claire Weekes' books I know it's so hard isn't it
I've been practicing "flooding" which is the same thing really There is a fantastic doctor on You Tube Dr Harry Barry he says once you feel that adrenaline start rushing through your body pretend your feet are stuck to the floor tell yourself this is uncomfortable but not dangerous and just let it come and go he says within 10 minutes it's gone He's right It is hard but it does work He is a great believer in Claire Weekes
Wishing you calm and peaceful days xx
Those books saved my life many years ago. I haven’t looked at anxiety the same since.
