I’m wondering If Psychotic Break Down’s can come From Anxiety Or PTSD?

Hi there,

As far as I understand psychosis is not something that developes from anxiety or PTSD. It is something which can be found alongside them, but is not caused by them.

If you are worried about developing psychosis and are already suffering from anxiety this is just the anxiety talking. Many people feel like they are going mad when they first experience anxiety and panic attacks. Reading up on the symptoms can help you recognise them.

Many people suffer from anxiety, it is horrible, but treatable.

My Main Diagnosis Are Anxiety And OCD But I Also Have PTSD Which My Old Psychiatrist Told Me These Psychotic Break Down’s Are From That.

I Just Keep Being Put On More Medication’s.

Year’s Ago.

I Remember Getting A Vaccine And I Don’t Know What It Was But It Got Me Of My Terence.

I have sent you a link for information on psychosis . nhs.uk/mental-health/condit... a look and see if this is what you are experiencing .

You should be able to access your records about your previous medications , at least this is possible in the UK . But I am unaware of any vaccine that can help with psychosis . But I am not a doctor or therapist so I don't know to much about this .

Is there a reason you don't want to go on medication , do they not work or have side effects ?

Yes I understand . I knew the information would be reliable from the NHS ,. I don't know which American sites are accurate and didn't want you to get the wrong information .

I would of thought you still can gain information regarding your medical history though . Not sure how the healthcare system works in the states but we can request medical history from our doctor surgery here in England .

I Will Try It But Each Break Down I Think I Been Drugged.

Back In October Was My Last Psychotic Break Down And I Haven’t Felt Myself.

Usually I Do.

I Know A Few Of These Psychotic Break Down’s.

I Was Giving A Shot And I Was Back To Myself Within Day’s.

Wonder What That Shot Was?
