Retreating into myself

Hey everyone! I am super nervous, because I just started college this last week at a university 14 hours from home. I have no clue how to cope with all of the anxiety I have. I have had anxiety for about 4 years now, and it hasn't been this bad in a long time. I have been getting anxiety attacks almost everyday, to the point that my psychiatrist prescribed me a supplemental medication for my anxiety attacks. I can feel my self getting back into the idea that people hate me and are talking about me, and that no one wants to hang out with me because I am annoying, and now, I have no clue how to get over those thoughts. I feel so alone and isolated, even though I have a roommate and everything. I keep getting overloaded with anxiety and I can't keep it all in. Any advice to help me ease these anxieties>

Yes. When I'm in an anxious state everything is magnified. Get into a group therapy and spit out the poison. It helps and you can get good feedback from the group.
